EGO

UNCOMFORTABLE TO READ, BUT TRUE ……

(Ed. Note:  SORRY FOLKS, I KNOW IT WON'T APPLY TO YOU, BUT STILL ...... !)

·       While flying is generally a very safe way to travel, the principal danger in small planes tends to stem from human error.

·       Many GA pilots may only fly infrequently and so can overestimate their current skills. The combination of a big ego and a small plane can be tragic.

·       Careless flying and inexperience can put those in the air and on the ground in danger.

·       Cocky pilots will sometimes be tempted to challenge the forces of nature, and their egos will subsequently and literally come crashing down.

Remember the story of Icarus, and ……
